Subject: Popeye!
I was singing this song this past week. I never knew that Gent Autry sang this as the only version I knew was from Popeye with Olive Oyl singing.

Thank-you to whomever uploaded this.

Subject: Great song for a singing cowboy
This song was written by Frank Loesser, composer, for a film called "The Forest Rangers." Though the composer nor the film could be classified as western, this Gene Autry recording embodies the philosophy of the singing cowboy, who rides off into the sunset as the girl stands by the garden gate, waving her hankie in farewell. A perfect song for Autry while he was chewing Doublemint Gum
